As a Chinese (Canadian) myself, I can tell you that I have heard about a lot of abuses and corruptions there, from Chinese bloggers, alternative news, or the individual citizens. There are some very rich people for sure, but the poor who live in rural areas of China might not even have the opportunities to better their life due to many factors (mainly political corruptions). Unlike the Christian nations in the West, the citizens in China do not have equal opportunity to pursue happiness and success.

The main reason why the nation prospered in recent decades was because the Chinese communist government opened the market (to not intervene with the market as much) and made compromises to allow capitalism to run its course, and it worked. The sad thing is that the communist party stole credits for the success of capitalism.

The Ghost Cities

Here comes the topic of the day—the ghost cities. Satelite images showed many empty cities in China. One of my friends personally saw one of these places just two weeks ago! These are brand new cities built from scratch. Why do they build so many cities that have no people?

The Chinese government is so smart they have to be up to something brilliant right? Is it another conspiracy? New prison cities with survillence system to imprison the citizens in the future? Maybe, but if that happens it won’t be their original intent.

The truth is probably NOT stranger than fiction this time. I say it has nothing much to do with any conspiracy. It’s just another farce of planned economy. The local governments want to appease the central government, which pressures her minions to maintain a 8%+ GDP growth. Afterall, this is still a communist government, and while they are politically confused enough to allow capitalism to run for now, they haven’t abondoned their belief in central planning entirely. They think they can create jobs and fuel the economy by building cities (that nobody wants). This can actually boost the GDP number, but it’s a paper growth. Synethized jobs do nothing but harm to the actual economy, by stealing resources from the real producers and consumers of the private sectors.

The creation of empty cities creates an artificial bubble in real estate, and bubbles will eventually burst. Eventually the truth will find her way into reality. You can’t defy truth forever. Every house of cards will eventually crumble.

When the Bubble Bursts

Like when Japan fell into decades long recession just when everybody thought she was going to be huge, China has the potential to repeat the same fate. However, you and I can use this knowledge to profit. For example, you may wait for the moment to sweep in and buy cheap value stocks when the Chinese market fell. This is just one of the many ways you can benefit from a market meltdown. In the meantime we can save capital and wait for the judgement day to happen, and then buy stocks that fell way below their true values when everyone is panicking and sell their shares.

Whether the stock markets do well or not should have no negative impact on us at all if we remain coolheaded and make the informed decision based by knowing the fundamentals. And one of the fundamental is that the supply has to meet the demand. Artificial jobs and planned economy that don’t have any real demand is unsustainable. This means if you know that the hitting the fan scenario is going to happen, withdraw your investments from the market (this is why mutual funds and insurance investment are bad for you—they lock your money in), and invest it in safer places such as precious metals (effective when inflation is certain), and wait until the market crush, and invest your money on the cheap stocks!

Is It THAT Simple?

Yes it is, though it maybe hard to impliment because we as humans are emotional and tend to follow the herds. The sad thing is, history has repeated itself again and again, but people in general don’t learn from it. The ghost cities of China is not the first example of the failure of central economic planning. There are tons of examples like in the past. They are unbelievably stupid if you study them.

Am I being too comical to say this? Though I hope I make you laugh, unfortunately, I am also serious. There are indeed elites who are controlling the system, and the financial crisis is one of the side effect of such control.

The Federal Reserve has been controlling the money supply of the U.S., and other central banks are controlling the money supply of other nations, but are they controlled by anyone? No, not by the governments. A lot of people are still thinking that the Federal Reserve is part of the Federal government, but it is not. It is a private corporation, yet it has a lot of control over the U.S., including the government.

The shareholders of the FEDS are major players of the system. They are not your typical American entreprenuers, but they are corporations that mainly make money through favorable government regulations that protect their businesses, through earning the tax dollars by monopolizing businesses with the government, and receiving subsidizes from government. Remember the Goldman Sachs bailout that costs the taxpayers 3 billions? The Goldman Sachs is one of the major shareholders of the Federal Reserve.

In other words, the FEDS pays its shareholder with printed money (Government’s bailout comes from FEDS’s loans), and the taxpayers have to repay it, with interest.

What are the major downsides of central banking? They create artificial inflation. It decreases our purchasing power. The money is printed out of thin air. They own the money they print. The market receive the fresh money supply through loans. The government is the major borrower of the FEDS. They say increasing government spending would create jobs, but it is a banker’s lie. The bankers want the government to borrow, so they support this propaganda. In fact, they are the ones who created this “government’s spending = jobs creation” theory.

Moreover, the artificial money isn’t really based on actual values. The borrowers are not the ones who create wealth. It leads to mal-investment since borrowers are not actual entreprenuers. The major borrower is the government, and government is not good at managing wealth at all.

And the Wall Street Corruption

It is not too late to take back the nation from Internation bankers if we start praying.

Isaiah 33:15-16

¹⁵He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly,
who despises the gain of oppressions,
who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe,
who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed
and shuts his eyes from looking on evil,
¹⁶he will dwell on the heights;
his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks;

Today we found ourselves in a Satanic, worldy system where money is effectively controlled by people at the top who worship Satan. (Just do some basic research on the Internet and you will find out so much, or leave a comment here to ask)

All the usual jobs: teachers, politicians, actors, musicians, doctors, pharmarcists, pastors, priests, coroporation jobs, bankers, government agents, insurers… Most of them are parts of the systems that form a gigantic network that serves Satan’s agenda to enslave, deceive, steal, and murder the human race. This is why we have so much violence, death, wars, sicknesses, prisons, occults… in this world.

The average people are becoming broke and being exploited as we speak. The systems are becoming more and more oppressive to those who do choose to stay pure. If you work inside the systems, you will either compromise, or believe in their lies to keep your job, and become part of the system, or you will take a stand and put up major fights to be lights and salts, and sometime get spilled out by the systems if you are not as strong as Daniel. (See Book of Daniel in the Bible)

Most Christians that I see are becoming part of the systems instead of the light and salts. How do you justify working for a government agency that deceives the population such as the F.D.A? How do you justify working for insurance companies who sell people complicated life insurance products that exploit them?

Isn’t that equate to accepting the “gain of oppressions”? They would rationalize that they are trying to win their colleagues to Christ. Okay, if what they are doing are helping evil employers, who are ultimately controlled by the richest, Satanic people in the world, who work under the radar, to promote and forge the One World Order for Satan, then obviously they are part of the problems. Either they have to stop being in the systems, or they have to retailor their jobs to make them 100% pure. Both options require nothing less than supernatural support from God on a daily basis.

I have seen miracles happened for godly people. They have received the blessing of Deuteronomy 28:13, which makes them the top, and never at the bottom. When they become the top, and they are entrusted with the entire operation of the companies they work for, or they are able to create their own jobs, and they become conquerors, not part of an evil system.

For me, I am still wandering in the financial desert. It has been that way for 4 years now. Whenever I think about getting back into the systems (submitting resume), I would feel very depressed. I guess I have to stop praying so hard and cut off my fellowship with God if I have to make myself to submit the resume to big companies out there.

I think the only way to take the high road is through God’s supernatural means, but first, we have to steer away from temptations, and never compromise, for “He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe…he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure.”

Speaking of water, even our water is contaminated with the toxic Floride by the governments. The world we lives in are under the control of Satan. If we want to conquer in this world, we have to really obey the words of God.

I have tried to build my own businesses, but everytime I would eventually sabotage myself because I would open the cans of worms as I dug deeper in the business. I would find out that the business practices I adopted, or the advertisers I promoted are bad.

Eventually it comes to this. I have to take the highest road! I will create my own job, companies, or re-design any job I can land to by the grace of God. There is no more in the middle. There is no more imitating other businesses’ practices. I will have to find out the highest road, even if I have to find it alone.

A Hero of Faith in the Old Testament—Daniel

Don’t be fooled by Satan into thinking that God would treat you any different than any hero of faith, and Jesus Himself, because the truth is if you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a child of God. Satan’s power is only as great as how much lies he manages to get you to believe.

Remember how he tempted Jesus in the desert with the opening: “If you are the Son of God…” (Matthew 4). The reason why he used that line was because it was his only hope to make Jesus powerless, if he accepted the lies. It won’t work on Jesus the Son of God, but unfortunately it works wonder on many sons of God today.

We have the power to make ourselves powerless by believing in untruth, but truth will set us free to become what we truly are (John 8:32).

Let see who was this Daniel and how he took the high road.

Daniel was a young man from an Israelite’s royal family when his nation was conquered by the Babylonians. He and 3 other young Israelite noble men were taken to Babylon to learn their knowledge and languages, so they could serve the King. The king gave him and other captive young nobles meal and drink that he ate himself. However, Daniel and his 3 like-minded friends refused because the foods violated the law of God, and the supervisor who oversaw his meal struggled a bit over this, but eventually granted him favor. Daniel and his friends ate only vegetable and drank water, and they looked better and more nourished than other young noble.

Not only that, but God also granted them understanding and knowledge of almost everything there was to learn. Daniel himself was granted even more gifts, as he could understand dreams and visions of all kinds.

The rest was a life of excellence as the kings’ servant. In his entire life he had served 4 empirors from 2 dynasties (Babylon and Persia). For each king he became the highest official second only to the King.

For years I have problems following the example of Daniel. I thought I set myself apart for God enough, but I could never had the wisdom and excellence that Daniel was given.

What was wrong?

With the number of Christians we have today, you would think there must be plenty of Daniel dominating every field, but the reality is there are not enough of them.

I think it all go back to the beginning. 100% purity is important for God, and one must have faith, for without faith we will receive nothing from God (James 1:7). If we want to excel in this world, we must never make a single compromise. There are many lies in every system out there. The people of God must recognize them as first sight and set themself apart from it all, and rely on God 100%, to manifest some, all, and even more than what Daniel had at his time.

Do Not Support Abortion, Stealing, and other Oppressive Schemes

Those who support ungodly positions, agencies, policies, and politicians that are pro-abortion, redistributing wealth(stealing from producers), pro-unionist (stealing from employers by force), destroying family (in the name of child protection), posioning the food (government agency that regulates food and drugs), or investing in companies or charities that do such things will NOT receive the blessings from God, who promised to bless those who despise gain of oppression.

In fact, those who consciously or unwittingly do such things will invoke the written curses of God.

Deuteronomy 27:18, 25

18 “Cursed is anyone who leads the blind astray on the road.”
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”

25 Cursed is anyone who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.”
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”

In fact, those who work in the conventional medical industry are part of a murdering scheme devised by Satan himself. Now that you hear this from me, think about what you should do NOW to get out of the system.

If we manage to avoid all of these curses by the grace of God, and take a stand with faith, I am sure we will be at the top and not the bottom, and our bread and water will be sure!

The blessing of prosperity is subjected to some conditions of course. God doesn’t spoil His children, but you can really start enjoying success and abundance quickly if you understand God’s conditions and submit to them.

What is the biblical definition of prosperity? It is important to first understand what biblical prosperity is about, so you can tell when you don’t have it and fix the problem, or give thanks when you realize you have received favors from God.

Prosperity glorifies God

We are created for God’s glory (Isaiah 43:7). But after sin entered the picture, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Jesus came and died for our sin, so that when we became born again by putting our faith in Jesus Christ we could obtain salvation. Salvation comes in manifold, and it includes restoration of our ability to glorify God:

What is the glory of God? His creativity, beauty, perfection, wisdom, power, knowledge, and every virtue that He displays by being Himself. He also displays His glory through His creation, and of all creations, human kind was the most special and precious because we were made in His image (Genesis 1:27).

The package of restoration includes power, authority, abundance, and all kind of blessings that Jesus Christ has (Ephesians 1:3).

We are to go out and show people how blessed we are, not walking around poor and defeated while praising God for being poor and defeated.

Matthew 5:16

¹⁶Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Now, doing good works isn’t as easy as it sounds. According to the standard of the Bible, good work isn’t just any work that seems good to men. Everything that isn’t from God is sin. That means you and I have to discern God’s will and find out what He wants us to do in every specific situation and do it in the right timing with the right motives.

Sounds impossible, doesn’t it?

In other words, glorifying God is a supernatural process that requires supernatural power to achieve.

John 15:7-8

⁷If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

⁸Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

To glorify God, we need to be in a very intimate relationship with Jesus. We need to make sure that every prayer that we pray will be answered. If we are in this state, then we will have no problem bearing much fruits and glorify God by bearing much fruit.

You may ask, how can you make sure your prayers will be answered? Isn’t that presumptuous?

Everything that God promised in the Bible and everything that the Holy Spirit impressed upon/or revealed to you through His word were yours to have (2 Cor 1:20). And you can be certain that you can have what you ask if you and Jesus are close and like-minded.

Since Jesus has ascended to heaven about 2000 years ago, many false teachings and human philosophies have crept in to the Christian community and try to nullify God’s word (1 Cor 2:1-5; 2 Tim 3:5). This is unfortunate, because many Christians have been kept away from the supernatural power, which come only with the pure truth, by these false teachings and human philosophies.

Right teaching will enable the hearers to bear good fruits, but wrong teaching will cause the hearers to bear wrong fruits.

Prosperity is a blessed state of having the resource and ability to accomplish God’s will

2 Corinthians 9:8

True prosperity is not hoarding. Hoarding is in fact a sign of poverty. Those who hoard will also hoard critters and dirt, because critters and dirt always gather around large pile of useless items. Hoarders will have to maintain their increasing pile with stress and extra expenses.

Same goes with money in the bank account. Jesus says moth and rust will destroy it, and thieves will try to steal it. (John 6:19)

However, that doesn’t mean if we are wealthy we should just sit back and allow the thieves to steal our wealth. I will try to write more posts about how to keep our foe Satan away and make him pay back what he had stolen from us, because he is the one who steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10)

A better way to handle wealth is to give it to those who are expanding the kingdom of God. Paper money that sits in a bank does nothing but gets eroded by inflation. Keeping paper money in the bank is worst than burying gold underground, because gold is immune to inflation.

True prosperity is a blessed state of always having something to give to those who are in need. Again, it is a supernatural process. Give, and you will be given more. (Luke 6:38)

Many people think that Jesus was a poor guy when he was walking on earth, but no, he was never poor except when he was nailed on the cross naked. He always had enough resource to do what he had to do. Sometime he would just perform a miracle and create whatever he needed when his treasury wasn’t around (Who was Judas, the one who betrayed Jesus)

Judas stole from the ministry fund regularly. If Jesus got a treasury to take care of his wallet, it had to have a lot of money in it. And if someone managed to steal from it, the pile must be big enough so that when some money is gone no one would notice.

Prosperity of God is a foolish and narrow way

1 Corinthians 1:26-30

²³But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;²⁴But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

²⁵Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

²⁶For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

²⁷But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

²⁸And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

²⁹That no flesh should glory in his presence.

³⁰But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

God isn’t impressed by self-sufficiency. Therefore in the Bible God often pit the weak against the strong to show to the world that He alone is the source of all things good.

Humans are capable of succeeding on their own without God. God gave good talents and natural strength to men when He created us, so even though sin entered the world and corrupted us all, we can still go on our own way and achieve something without God.

Herein lies the gravest problem in our history – our departing and independence from God was the first sin we committed. To this day, the stubborn desire to stay independence is what has kept many from God.

We have to be humble enough to receive true prosperity from God. If we think we are strong, then we have no room for God’s power. If we think we are rich, then we are not able to receive true wealth from God. Jesus said it is hard for those who trust in the riches to enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Mark 10: 24)

Therefore, God, in His mercy and wisdom, often choose the foolish, the weak, and the poor to serve Him, so He can demonstrate His power through them and motivate the wise, the strong, and the rich to humble themselves before Him.

To the foolish, the weak, and the poor, they have no other things to cling onto, so it’s easier for them to be empty enough for God to fill. That doesn’t mean the well off people cannot receive God, but it’s just harder for them if they think they have everything.

I have seen the opposite in rare instance. Sometime well-off people may humble themselves before God and realize they need Him, while the foolish, weak, and poor ones are conceited for no reasons.

No matter where you are in life, you can start emptying yourself and ask God to bless you with prosperity. You can be a rich man, but still God can give you better things if you humble yourself before Him and ask.

The way of God looks foolish to the world, and it’s very narrow. When Jesus got crucified, who could have guessed it was actually a victory for God? Every believer at the time thought the evil had triumphed, until Jesus was resurrected and explained to them about the cross.

The way of the cross is a narrow path. Many people expected Jesus to become a military conqueror and delivered then from the tyranny of the Roman Empire, but he went to the cross instead.

Likewise, if we want true prosperity from God, we have to take up our cross and follow Jesus. (Matthew 16:24)

Worldly prosperity may serve you in this life, but it ultimately leads you to Hell in the afterlife

Psalm 49:16-20

¹⁶ Do not be overawed when a man grows rich,
when the splendor of his house increases;

¹⁷ for he will take nothing with him when he dies,
his splendor will not descend with him.

¹⁸ Though while he lived he counted himself blessed—
and men praise you when you prosper-

¹⁹ he will join the generation of his fathers,
who will never see the light of life .

²⁰ A man who has riches without understanding
is like the beasts that perish.

Many rich and successful people hold seminars and write books on how to be as rich and successful as them. People celebrate and praise them for their wealth and fame and are willing to spend a lot of time and money to be their students.

So did I. I thought they must have something good to learn from if they can become so successful in the world. After spending months wandering in the world of self-help/success/money gurus and expert, I realized I was so distracted by their teachings that I couldn’t focus on what God is trying to tell me.

Gradually, I also realized that the prosperity of the world and prosperity of God were entirely different and they could not be mixed together. (Matthew 9:16-17)

Why does prosperity of the world lead to Hell? Is there something wrong with it? Something immoral?

The main issue is that these people have been relying on their own strength. Self-sufficiency might give you a short-lived success in this world, but it won’t last. Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

But if you build your career based on daily provision from God, not only will you experience wild success beyond imagination, but what you accomplish will last forever.

Those who spend every workday doing their own things will not be able to discern God’s will and obey Him properly. Even though they may be active church goers, if they spend at least 5 days per week doing their own things, they are just religious rebels.

If we spend 5 days per week doing things we think are right, but are distracted from God’s voice, there are huge chances that we will fall into temptation and hidden sins.

Prosperity in itself is a good thing, but are you trying to build your own prosperity and use it the way you deem right? Or are you looking upon God for daily provision and give your wealth to whoever God directs you to give it to?

Matthew 4:8-10

⁸Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;

⁹and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”

¹⁰Then Jesus said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’”

This is exactly what I am talking about in the previous section. To try to get prosperity without God will ultimately and quickly leads to sin, and then ultimately Hell, if one dies in sin before repentance.

Mysterious practices that claim to make people successful and rich, or give them anything they desire by telling them to “think it into existence”, are actually witchcraft. At first, their teachings would seem to make a lot of sense, but it gradually bring you through the continuum from soft-core, subtle philosophies to all out demonic doctrines.

They will tell you that the mysterious power that gives you what you visualize/pray/meditate/manifest is the mysterious power source of the Universe, a supreme being, ascended master, spiritual guide, or some other identities or deities in various form or titles.

But in fact they all came from the same spiritual kingdom – Satan’s kingdom. If you open yourself just slightly to these spiritual beings, they will enter you and influence you, and ultimately deceive you from the true biblical God. (2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 6:12)

Witchcraft works, but for what ultimate purpose? It works to awe people in this lifetime. But it cannot save their souls from the eternal God. And it crumbles immediately when is confronted by the power of God. (Exodus 7: 8-12)

The only reason Satan gives his followers the power and knowledge of witchcraft is to deceive them and to hinder spiritual growth and well being of Christians. (Matthew 24:24, 1 Timothy 4:1)

Prosperity gives you something out of nothing

The Bible has recorded numerous instances where God created something out of nothing for His people. Perhaps you are familiar with the miracles that happened during the Exodus. Moses hit a rock and there came the water. The Manna were dropped from heaven and fed the Israelite everyday for 40 year.

And there were more:

• A prophet received meat from crows and he drank from a dwindling river during a prolonged famine, and then after the river dried up, God sustained a widow supernaturally and provided that prophet daily meals through her. (1 Kings 17)

• Isaac got a very pretty wife through supernatural means, but he didn’t even know that until his future wife met him, and then they went into his tent immediately! (Exodus 24)

• One year, Isaac planted crops and reaped a hundredfold because of God’s blessing. The rest of the nation only got average harvest. Soon Isaac became super wealthy and the entire nation envied him. (Genesis 26:12-14)

• Abraham, the father of faith (which means he is the father of all Christians), was supernaturally rich and prosperous. (Genesis 13:5-6; 21:22-23; Genesis 24:34-35)

• Jobs, a super rich godly man who went through severe trials from Satan, became double rich and blessed after he survived the Satanic attacks. (Jobs 42: 10-17)

• Jesus fed 5000 men with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, including their wives and children. (Matthew 14:13-21)

• A concubine and her son who got kicked out by their family wandered in a desert and ran out of water. The woman wept and the child cried, and God listened to the child, so He enlightened the eyes of the woman and she saw a well. Moreover, God blessed that kid and promised him to be the father of a great nation, which is today’s northern Arab people. (Genesis 21:8-20)

• Jesus took his time to preach like usual while his disciple Peter accompanied him. Peter was still a fisherman. He didn’t give up his job to serve Jesus full time. After Jesus finished preaching, he told Peter where he should let his net down, which Peter did halfheartedly because he and his fellow fishermen had already worked all night in the previous night and found nothing. This time, he caught so many fishes that the net almost broke, and then Peter and his pals gave up everything and followed Jesus full time. (Luke 5:1-11)

In Christ, we have the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3:14), which means we can enjoy any supernatural provision that is similar to the ones on the list above. The blessing of Abraham takes active faith to manifest. If you are not aware of that blessing, and if you don’t have enough faith, prosperity of God would still elude you.

Prosperity enables you to tackle mission impossible

God often calls us to do something that we are under-qualified to do and enable us to do it, so that He can reveal His glory through us.

He doesn’t want us to climb through the ladder through human means, but instead He wants us to leapfrog to the top with spiritual power if we rely on Him fully.

Not only will God gives us His supernatural strength, power, and revelation to handle the big moments for the short-term, but He may also give us permanent skill, ability, and knowledge to take on some professional vacations such as mason, politician, warrior, judge, king, teacher, prophet, apostle, fisherman, orator, artist, priest, administrator, and more:

• God gave Abraham the task of impregnating his wife, Sarah. When Abraham finally accomplished that task, he was 100 years old, and Sarah was 90. (Genesis 21:5; Genesis 17:17-21) Later, Abraham went on to produce even more children. (Genesis 25:1-4) He went from an infertile husband to fruitful father!

• Jacob fled from his older brother and his wealthy family, and went to work for his uncle as an employee. This uncle cheated him all the time, but still, after 20 years of service under his uncle as a super shepherd (Genesis 30: 27-30), Jacob managed to become very rich at the end. (Genesis 30:43)

• Joseph, one of Jacob’s sons, got sold to Egypt as slave and became the chief servant of the captain of Pharaoh and he was a very successful servant. (Genesis 39:2-6) Later, he got framed and was sent to prison, but he became the warden’s assistant and was also very successful at his job. (Gensis 39: 20-23) Then he became the Pharaoh’s second in command… (see the last section).

• God often talked to Moses, but the people were scared of God, so they demanded Moses to be their middle person instead of facing God themselves. (Exodus 20:19) Later, however, God anointed 70 elders of Israel with His Spirit and they were able to share some of Moses’ workload. (Numbers 11:16-17)

• God ordered the Israelites to build the Tabernacle in a desert. It was a giant piece of delicate and expensive work of art. But the Israelites were slaves, they had no skills of that sort. For generations, they had done nothing but laboring in brick and mortar and all kind of outdoor hard labor work for Egypt. (Exodus 1:11-14) So God chose a chief craftsmen from among them and filled him with His Spirit, with skill, ability, and knowledge of all kinds of crafts and artistic designs. God also dispensed skill to other general craftsmen to do what God wanted them to do. (Exodus 31:1-11; Exodus 35: 30-35; Exodus 36:1)

• God chose a child to be the future king of Israel. God sent His prophet to anoint that child, David, and from the day on, the Spirit of God came upon child David in power. (1 Samuel 16:13) Later, it was revealed that David became a prolific composer of worship songs, and his music could resist demonic forces. (1 Samuel 16:23) Not only that, the Spirit filled teenager David was able to kill lion and bear with his bare hands. Bare hands! (1 Samuel 17:34-37) And that was only child play to teenage David, because he later faced a giant who put the entire nation of Israel under fear, and killed him in seconds. (1 Samuel 7:45-51)

• Daniel had the Spirit of God inside him, so even though he was captured by Babylonian and was made to be a servant for the foreign king, he soon became the prime minister in that foreign kingdom. Four times the dynasty had changed, but Daniel remained a powerful official in each empire. No one was able to find any fault in him. (Daniel 4:8-9,18; Daniel 5:11-12,14; Daniel 6:3-5) You know how hard it is for a politician to be too perfect for his enemies to find fault with. In politics, there are just too many factors and crises that are out of human control. It’s impossible to be a perfect politician. The only politicians people thought perfect always turned out to be mass killing dictators.

Of course there were many more characters who got anointed by God and had done amazing things, not once or twice, but for the rest of their life since the anointing of God’s Spirit came upon them. But some might argue that it only happened in the Old Testament era, so let see what God did to characters in the New Testament era:

• Even Jesus himself received the Holy Spirit before he started his ministry on earth. (Luke 3:21) He later became filled with the power of the Holy Spirit at the start of His ministry, and everyone recognized that power and praise him. (Luke 4:14-15)

• After Jesus died on the cross, the disciples sort of gave up and forgot everything he said. (Luke 24:13-32) They were dumb. Jesus then appeared to them and said to them, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. [the Holy Spirit]” (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8) So after Jesus’ ascension they did tarry in Jerusalem and received the Holy Spirit, and behold, these disciples were no longer dumb after they received the Spirit. They quoted the Bible right, preached the full Gospel, healed the sick, and brought many to God. (Acts 1:12-14; Acts 2-5)

• Followed by powerful ministry of the apostles, the church had massive influx of new believers, and even the Spirit-filled apostles were having trouble taking care of the administrative work, so they selected 7 Spirit-filled men to take care of the admin work, and as a result the church grew even more rapidly. (Acts 6:1-7)

To achieve the impossible, you need supernatural power. Base on the above, we can conclude that permanent excellence come only with the indwelling of His Spirit. That means biblical prosperity can only be obtained by a Spirit filled person.

The blessing of prosperity protects you from harm and detour

Job 1:9-10

⁹Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

¹⁰Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

Satan is always outside trying to get in to steal, kill, and destroy, but God puts a hedge around us if we are in a good relationship with Him. Without the hedge, we are at the mercy of Satan, but he has no mercy. He will bring sickness, accident, conflict, and misfortune into our life anytime he wants if there is no hedge protecting us.

Some people enjoy more blessings than the others simply because they have a hedge around them. (Psalm 84:11) Even non-Christian has it. (Matt 5:45) Some Christians, however, might have broken hedges because of their sins, their leaders’ sins, or their family’s sins.

Deuteronomy 28:6-7

⁶Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

⁷The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

Some people are accident-prone. It could be a supernatural phenomenon. If you are accident-prone, find out what is against you. If that is a result of curses, you can break the curse in the name of Jesus Christ, and plead the blood of Christ over yourself and your entire family, and even the entire ancestry line.

Malachi 3:11

¹¹And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

To the contrary what most people believe, excellence or mediocrity is not something we can totally control by hard-work and positive thinking.

There are many self-help books that teach how to control one’s financial well-being and achieve success in life. They try to analyze the way to success and distill it into a bunch of formulas and principles which everyone can apply and generate the similar results, but it’s not biblical this way.

It is not biblical, because they either leave the spiritual force out of the equation, or they incorporate spiritual force that are not from God.

In the spiritual realm, it’s either God or Satan. There is no neutral ground. It’s naive to think that one can make it in life without either one of the forces at work from behind the scene. You are either with God, or with Satan. (Matt 4:8; Matt 12:30; Ephesians 2:1-2)

Prosperity is promotion, wealth, and health

Psalm 75: 6-7

⁶For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

⁷But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Believe it or not, even evil leaders are promoted by God. If the people are godless and prayer-less, God can only give them leaders of their own kind. So if you find yourself or someone grumble and murmur against bosses and employers, look into yourself and see if you have done your duty to pray for a godly government. (1 Tim 2:1-4)

It’s an epic, thousands-years-long war between two kingdoms— kingdom of God and kingdom of Satan.

Again, this is a war that has no neutral ground— either you are with God, or you are under the manipulation and at the mercy of Satan. (Matt 4:8; Matt 12:30; Ephesians 2:1-2; 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 6:12)

Therefore, we have a duty to gain promotion. There more godly people receive promotion in every field, the more the kingdom of God can expand. We are coworkers of God. (Mark 16:20)

Example of biblical promotions:

• When a prisoner, Joseph interpreted a prophetic dream for Pharaoh and Pharaoh made him a prime minister on the spot. (Genesis 41)

• God made Moses His prophet and chose him to lead Israel out of Egypt, although Moses was already 80 years old and slow. (Exodus 4:10-12)

• God blessed a pagan widow, Ruth, and she married a rich Israel man and became one of the ancestor for Jesus Christ. ( Ruth 4:13-22)

• Read the book of Judges and you will find many similar promotions. People from all kind of background became deliverer of Israel in different generation. (Book of Judges)

• God chose child David, and anointed him with His Spirit, and I just told you his heroic achievement when a teenager. Later, he became king at the age of 30, after the wicked king Saul, who had persecuted David many times, died. (2 Samuel 5:4)

• Too many examples from the Old Testament to write them all in this post.

• In the New Testament, non-religious, uneducated Jews like Peter and John became the Apostles after they received the Holy Spirit (Acts 2) and they helped build the powerful early Church. They performed miracles that Jesus performed and won every debate with the religious people of the time. (Acts 4:13-14)

Important: Although the New Testament only mentioned the promotions of Church leaders, it’s important to know that the promotions of Old Testament are still relevant today. See the last section of this post.

Deuteronomy 28:11-13

¹¹ The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.  ¹² The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. ¹³ The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

Just want to show you that Biblical prosperity means literal wealth, success, and honor. Too many people try to explain away the basic meaning of prosperity in the Bible or argue that it’s an Old Testament thing.

Satan wants us to be poor and his kingdom to be rich, so that people will not see the glory of God when they look at us walking around poor and defeated, and that his servants can have plenty of money to promote and create more evil.

If we obey and follow God, all kinds of prosperity that are promised in the ENTIRE Bible will be ours.

Proverbs 10:22

²²The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Contrary to what religious people are saying, money doesn’t bring sorrow. But the love of money does. (1 Timothy 6:10)

Deuteronomy 7:15

¹⁵And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness

God means “all”. There is no exception. God takes away ALL sickness.

Proverbs 3:7-8

⁷Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

⁸It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

So, be healthy.

All blessings. Every blessing you can name in the ENTIRE Bible is ours in Christ. The blessings that were written in the Old Testament and the New Testament are both relevant for us today .

Galatians 3:14

¹⁴That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

We have the blessing of Abraham. In every examples that I listed in this post, the protagonists were descendants of Abraham. We are now the spiritual descendants of Abraham through Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:6-9), so we are entitled to every blessing that Abraham and His children have.

Now I wouldn’t dare giving you the above grand promises if I hadn’t received some major revelations from the Lord recently, which I believed would change my own life dramatically from now on.

I want to share this blessing with you, and the blessing of these revelations are meant for every Christian, and to a certain extent, even for the non-Christians. Everyone can receive the benefits of God’s promises. It makes me think of Psalms 119:130, “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”

Mysteries of the kingdom of God revealed!

Jesus told the disciples that he had explained to them the mysteries of the kingdom of God (Luke 8:10). In other words, the mysteries that had been hidden since time of  Genesis were revealed in his teaching.

What mysteries?

Items 1 to 12 from the top of this post, and even more!

The kingdom of God is as close as you want it to be. From now on, stop acting or speaking like you don’t know how to live victoriously. Stop thinking that you shouldn’t be held accountable for things you don’t know.

Why do I say that?

Just days ago I was like most people. I was not above complaining about what I didn’t know, and what I didn’t have. I would say things like, “how do I stop sinning?”; “I am confused!”; “I don’t know why I am like this!”

The Kingdom of God is as close as you want it to be

Right after Jesus talked about this mysteries, he explained why the multitude didn’t understand his parables.

Luke 8:10 And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘ Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.

People who don’t really want to receive more from God will not receive. They see but they don’t see. They hear but they don’t understand.

In the kingdom of God, the more we have the more we will be given. It’s like capitalism.

For example, have you tried to repeat a refreshing conversation you had with a dear friend to another person?

If that person is a bad listener, or if he doesn’t have the intimate knowledge or experience your dear friend has, you would feel like your words get caught up in your throat. That person might think that he understands you,  but your message is oversimplified and desensitized into something that is far less than the conversation you had with your dear friend.

It’s similar to when God is trying to reveal His mysteries to us. The more we have, the more He will be able to tell us things. The less we have, the less He will be able to explain deeper things to us.

An insincere, passive way of listening is not going to bring us far.

But you are not like that. You obviously want to know more. So don’t worry. You are going to understand the mysteries of God. God Himself guaranteed that. Seek and you will find! (Matt 7:7)

A perfect answer to the question “how?”

Sincere and God-loving Christians often ask “How?”, which is a good question. The fact that you are interested in finding out the answers to items 1 to 12 on top of this post indicates that you like How-to articles, right?

Great, I am a How-to kind of guy. I like clear step by step formula for spiritual matter.

God said, “sin no more!” (John 8:11) And I asked”How?”

God said, “Be joyful always” (1 Thess 5:16) I asked “How?”

God said, “Be perfect, because I am perfect” (Matt 5:48) “How?”

“Have faith in me!” “How?”

“Meditate in my words day and night, and you will be prosperous and have good success!” “How?”

“How do I stop this depressive thought?” “How do I get rid of this bitterness?” “How do I stop sinning?” “How can I become more diligent?” “How can I stop being lazy?” …

God always reveal the answer, although many times I didn’t get the answers quickly. It sometimes took years. God doesn’t answer my questions in essays. The answer often requires God using my own experience and adding bit and piece of enlightenment along the way, which eventually form a 3-D testimony of my own that finally give me the answer.

It’s like putting puzzles together into a picture.

Regarding the question of “how?”.

The perfect answer to the Hows is…

You don’t know how!!!

Yup, that’s the answer. That’s right, you don’t know how. I am not kidding.

Mark 4:26-27 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.

If you ask God how this happen, how that happen, and how to do this or that, God might actually answer you, but usually the ultimate solution is “just be”.

The words of God change what you are. The Bible is not written to give us a list of How-to, but to give us life.

How often do you see the Bible give you a list of how-to and formulas? You can find them in a cook book, but probably not the Bible.

How does it related to the Parable Of The Mustard Seed?

The key is hidden in the seed.

You might never understand the hows, but if you plant the seeds, and wait patiently, they will give you a harvest. The seeds will change you from within, and release the power of God in everything God called you to do. Problems solved. No need for the hows anymore.

You don’t need to worry about the hows anymore. They are irrelevant.

You have everything you need already. The Bible says God has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3)

What is life? Productivity certainly is. Joy, peace, health, and success are also important parts of life. Life isn’t just merely surviving and putting up with sins, defeats, and pains.

And there is godliness. Godliness is perfection and holiness. It’s living above sins!

Life and godliness are the solutions to items 1 to 12!!

Before I go on about actually planting the seeds and getting a good harvest of life and godliness, let me develop my case a little bit better.

How come some Christians are more Christian than the others?

This is the question I had for years. I often heard that some spiritual giants had a major revelation and suddenly they no longer sin. (such as Watchman Nee, Hudson Taylor)

I had been seeking this elusive, mysterious revelation for years, but I didn’t really understand. I read their testimonies but I didn’t see through the surface. I heard but I didn’t understand. (Luke 8:10)

If you have the same experience, welcome to the club! Congratulation because my years of struggles may serve you well!

I often asked Christians whom I admired questions such as “How do you keep yourself from sinning?”, “How come you are so self-disciplined?” “How do you manage to achieve so much within so short a time?”

I’d even asked pastors about this, but they didn’t really answer my questions.

For the victorious Christians, often time they really don’t know how they came to be victorious. They simply are what they are.

I know it’s not about self. It’s about relying on God. I rely on God, too! But how come I fall short while some people always do better than me? And they don’t even know how it happened!

Look into the seeds!!!

The mustard seed has faith, power, and transformational properties within it

Just scatter the seeds (The word of God) on the ground (Your soul: your heart and mind), preserve them with a good heart, and you will reap a harvest. (Luke 8:15)

The mustard seeds are the word of God.

Your faith will increase simply by listening to the word. (Romans 10:17)

Every word of God contains power. (Hebrews 4:12)

The word of God can be implanted into your soul, and save your soul through its living, growing, and transforming power. (James 1:21)

The word of God will accomplish everything it says it will accomplish. (Isaiah 5:11)

How come I don’t experience the word of God that way?

If God’s word has the aforementioned properties, then why do I go to the church so often, read the Bible a lot, and hear the sermons so many times, but still get stuck with certain struggles in my life?

The main reasons can be found in the parable of the sower (Mark 4:1-20, Matthew 13:1-23, and Luke 8:1-15) You and I know that only good seed (not to be confused with the mustard seeds) who persevere, who refuse distractions, who suffer persecutions, and who listen to word of God with a “good heart” will produce a great harvest in the end.

What else? The rest of this post will focus exactly on that.

For the sincere Christians who seem to belong to the category of good seeds : they go to the church, they study the Bible, and they do this, this and that, but they still had problems with lust, depression, laziness, sickness, fears, and etc.

What’s wrong?

You have to unlock the powers within the mustard seeds!!!

God has done His parts, and the only part left is ours.

The Bible says, “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3)

God has already given us everything, absolutely everything that pertain to life and godliness. He doesn’t need to give us more. We have enough. We should.

So how do you unlock the power of God’s word? How do you get the seeds working?

Simple. So simple that it’s almost hard to understand.

#1, speak the word of God in faith and speak it often. (Joshua 1:8)

I don’t mean intellectual conversation or discussion. We can study God’s word intellectually, but that’s another subject. Here I want to let you know that even simple, verbal declaration of God’s word can trigger the power of God.

God said, “Let there be light!” and there was light. The physical world didn’t ask “how?”. It simply obeyed. There was nothing too intellectual or too complicated about it.

Jesus rebuked the sea and the wind, and they listened to him. (Matt 8:26)

The principle of faith is that if you confess with your mouth and agree in your heart the things you want, they shall be given you. (Romans 10:10; Mark 11:22-24)

Jesus taught us this,

Mark 11:22-24 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he SAYS. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Matthew 17:20-21 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

You can speak God’s word. You can pray God’s word. One thing is necessary here, faith. If you say it and believe it in your heart, God’s word will manifest.

Don’t pray in a way as if God’s promise isn’t there. For example, don’t pray for victory over sin, or strength over sin, because the Bible say that you and I already connected with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, and therefore we also shared His victory over sins. (Romans 6; Galatians 5:24)

Miraculously, whenever I speak Christ’s victory with all my heart, temptations and the power of sins would collapse and victory would manifest. It isn’t about my willpower. The victory has already been won so don’t attempt to win it again.

If you believe that God’s promise isn’t what it says it is, and pray or speak in a way as if His promise is powerless, then the reality will come out that way.

If you say, “I really don’t know…” or “I am just confused…”, then you will indeed become “don’t know” and confused. You put faith in the words of doubt, so your faith in the negative and your negative words work against you.

Word of faith works in both negative and positive. The negative side of faith is doubt. Doubt means negative faith. It’s one kind of faith. It works.

“I am tired” So you get tired. “I think I am sick” So you get sick. “I don’t know why things get so bad lately” So things get bad and you don’t know why.

In the past many years, I often talked about my sins, my bad habits, and my confusions. I had tried many formula, listen to many godly men and their teachings, but the perfect formula still eluded me. So I kept talking about my sins, my bad habits, and my confusions, and they remained with me faithfully for as long as I talked about them and put my faith in those words.

Countless Christians speak in words of defeats, of their bad experiences, and of their feelings, than they speak in the word of God in faith. No wonder their situations never change. (Me included)

It doesn’t matter how godly you are, how sincere you are, or how much you love God, if you apply this spiritual principle of spoken faith, this principle will work.

You can apply this spiritual principle in ignorant, but this principle doesn’t filter the results base on what you really want. Like electricity, it can hurt you or serve you.

When you speak the word of God often, you hear it often. When you hear it often, your faith increases often. Faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17)

I learned to stop trying to find faith from within. I learned that I was only given faith that was the size of a mustard seed. I need to speak it and exercise it to release the faith of God within it.

#2, Deal with the tongue

People often want to know how to have better self-control, productivity, and all that. They also wonder why they don’t have the full life that Jesus promised. (John 10:10)

Some Christians even struggled with bondage such as suicidal thoughts, depressions, angers, bitterness, and all sort of things.

Christians who are willing to obey everything God ask of them might still live a powerless and unfulfilled life, and most often the source of problems trace back to their tongues.

James 3:2-6 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

Psalm 34:12-16 Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit.

Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

The Bible says that evil words of the tongue came from hell!(James 3:2-6) Hell is the home of demons, and there they torture the damned souls whom they had successfully deceived till the end of their earthly life.

For example, people who had self-hatred, suicidal thoughts, and depression were actually victim of demons. They planted these thoughts and deceptions in their victims’ minds.

The purposes of the demons are to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10) The Devil can only achieve that by planting evil thoughts and deceptions in people’s minds. The demons will move on to the next victim after they have done their planting, and they will come back to check their work from time to time. (Job 1:7; 1 Peter 5:8)

If these victims died in sins, or died without Christ, the demons that tortured them on earth will continue their torments in hell.

The tongue is a battle field of the Holy Spirit, the flesh, and the demons. ( Gal 5:17) The demons want to use our tongues to curse, to defile our whole body, and set things on fire!!

Sounds crazy? One time Jesus rebuked Peter with these words, “Get thee behind me Satan!” (Matt 16:23) Peter was just trying to talk Jesus out of the Crucifixion, but Jesus identified the true author of this plead as Satan himself.

The heaven and hell know that if they can control your tongues, they control your whole body.(James 3:2) Which side do you prefer to yield your control over?

When Christians speak evil of any kind, even if they think it’s just harmless venting or teasing, they are actually giving power to the enemy. Words of self-pity, doubts, complains, condemnation, and idle words make the Devil powerful.

The Devil has no power over us unless we give it to him. The Devil cannot order the mountains to move, but we can. The Devil knows it. Therefore, he works very hard to get us to say things that he wants us to say.

Through self-inspection and revelation from God, I learned that I had a pattern of self-fulfilling prophesies. I used to talk about my fears a lot. I was taught to tell things as it is. I was taught to vent it out. For every 1-2 years, some of my worst fear would come to pass, exactly the way I didn’t want it to happen!!

For example, I predicted that since I was so bad in self-discipline (A result of self-fulfilling prophesy in its own right), I would probably suffer lack of achievements. And I predicted that if my dream girl came along, I would be so inadequate and unproductive that I won’t deserve her.

Since immigrated into Canada, I had always worried about my broken English and the fact that I was too lazy to improve it, and when I did meet a dream girl (Second one, see below), she did loath at my accent!

The snobbish attitude that girl had toward me was part of my self-fulfilling prophesy as well. Prior to meeting her in reality, and after I met her, I had been talking about my inadequacy, broken English, and lack of social grace for so many times. I also kept saying and thinking that if I met a dream girl she would probably see through my inadequacies.

A couple of dream girls did come along(Respectively, each for 2.5 years, with 1 year of break in between, so my torments lasted for 5+years), and it did happen the way I predicted. “Better guys” beat me to it, except that the guys weren’t even Christians. They weren’t really superior than I was, but I prophesied my own defeats and contributed to it by the words of my mouth.

It didn’t help when I had been complaining about the snobbish attitude the second dream girl had occasionally expressed toward me, what was I thinking? You can’t get something you really want by complaining about it!!

Side note: Don’t complain about people. Don’t gossip. The more you condemn, the nastier those people would become. Your verbal curses can make people worst than they already are.

Side note#2: I know a lot of failures can be attributed to others, but talking about their incompetence, problems, and attitudes will not make things work. It will actually deliver your worst predictions- “Oh! because so and so … [have done something or failed to do something], it’s going to be … [thousands words description of how bad consequences are going to be]…”

You have faith on the negatives, and you speak it often, so it shall be done for you.

And I did suffer financially and academically because my lack of discipline. I had talked about my lack of self-discipline so many times for so many years, but I had rarely talked about the fruits of the Spirit, which include self-control.

For the 3 years that followed, I cut back on negative words and thinking by listening to God and believing in His perspective on things, rather than in my own perspective– my perspective always lean on the worst angle.

The cut back helped a lot. My depression stopped.

Recently, when I finally had a better understanding of the principle of speaking faith and used it to serve me, bad habits and laziness lose their grips on me!! It’s magical.

Control your tongue, and speak the word of God, and you will get the power of God’s word to work for you. God’s word always deliver when you speak it in faith.

#3, Have Faith

Have you ever asked God to increase your faith? When the disciples did this this was Jesus ‘s reply.

Luke 17:5-6 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

John 14:12-14 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do,

Everybody has faith. If someone believe in doubts, rather than in truth, that person is putting his faith in doubts.

If we believe in our feelings, circumstances, and ourselves, more than we believe in the words of God, then we are putting our faith on these things rather than on God.

Jesus didn’t grant his disciples the request for more faith, but he told them how they can exercise the faith they already had by speaking it.

Faith is like a mustard seed. It’s alive. It can grow.

It grows by hearing the word of God. Faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17)

The more we speak our faith, the more powerful our faith become as we listen to our voice of faith.

As we experience the power of God, victories will begin to manifest, and the more we experience victories, the more our faith would be strengthen. It’s a positive circle.

We can duplicate what Jesus did, and even more, if we exercise our faith properly.

# 4, Persevere

Luke 8:11-15 ¹¹“This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. ¹²Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. ¹³Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. ¹⁴The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. ¹⁵But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Perseverance is perhaps the most important key to get the word of God to work in your life. People who just try and see what happen will not last.

The Bible says life’s distraction and time of testing will come. It will look confusing. There will be unpleasant feeling.

After we plant the word of God into our souls and into our circumstances, things probably aren’t going to look very different immediately. It might actually seem worst than before.

The longer you have been a Christian, the more boring things will look like in the short-run. The honeymoon with God has long passed, but if you persevere, God will deliver His promises.

God doesn’t want whiners who whine at the first hint of hardship. God want us to speak the word of faith regardless of our circumstances.

Hebrews 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,”we also believe and therefore speak,

When situations look bad, and when you feel negative from within, keep speaking the word of God.

You might feel sick, but if you know in your heart that God has promised you healing, then keep speaking your healing out loud. If you are unemployed, but know in your heart that God is giving you a good job, or income of any kind, keep speaking abundance.

When I feel like procrastinating or being lazy, I speak out what I am going to do and why I am able to accomplish the tasks. Although I still feel lazy, my body and mind would find new energy that push me onward, and go ahead to do the tasks that I used to procrastinate under similar situations.

Romans 4:17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.”He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

The proper way to do it is to calls those things that are not as though they were. You don’t call things that are as though they are. You call thing that are not as though they were.

Man of faith call things that are not as though they were, until they are!!

Man of Doubts call things that are as though they are, until they are.

# 5 , Walk with the Holy Spirit

To be filled with God’s word is to be filled with the Spirit. You can’t have one without the other. Only the Holy Spirit can help you control the tongue.

Without the Holy Spirit, we are only as good as non-Christians who practice positive thinking and affirmation. This is why there has been a lot of buzz with The Law Of Attraction and all sort of new age techniques that have to do with verbal affirmation.

You see, many non-Christians can also create abundance and influence others by speaking positively about their situations. They have observed that there was this phenomenon, but they didn’t know why. It was like the discovery of the law of gravity.

The Bible says,

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

1 Corinthians 13:2 and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

It is possible to have the faith of God without obedience!! It is also possible to have perfect faith without the love of God.

The principle of spoken faith can work for you in this life, but without obedience to the Holy Spirit and the love of God, one will lose his heavenly reward, and it might even be possible to lose his salvation.

Therefore, even a non-Christian can be blessed in this life by the principle of spoken faith. No wonder there are so many successful non-Christians out there who rely on their own strength and their idols.

We as Children of God have much more powerful allies– God’s word and His Spirit– and if we work with them to our full capacity, we will indeed overcome this world and be on top of things. (Deu 28:13)

God does not show favoritism, whoever obeys His law of spoken faith will receive its benefits, but whoever violates this principle will suffer loss. In terms of this principle, it is not how much you love God or how sincere you are that counts, it’s whether you work with this principle that determines whether this principle serves you or hurts you.

There are universal finance principles from the Bible that are good for all, but different demographic is subject to different tax code and law, so I can’t provide the details and specific advice based on unique situation in different country.

A lot of my readers come from the U.S, and the U.S is one of the most strategic place for Christians, because it still has religious freedom and a great Christian presence. I want to contribute to my brothers and sisters there in some ways.

Based on the actions of the politicians and the FEDS in U.S, I don’t see how the economy of U.S is going to prosper for at least the next 10 years. They continue to fuel debts. You can’t create true prosperity with debts.

For years they have delayed the consequences of false prosperity, but you cannot violate financial principles and expect no consequences.

As it stands, the U.S dollar is likely to fall very rapidly soon and is already falling, and the inflation will skyrocket. Why? because the U.S government has been printing money bills like mad.

If our U.S brothers and sisters enjoy abundance, the rest of the body of Christ will benefit from it. I hope the U.S will remain a great nation that continue to be a training ground of missionaries and a free place for many of the Christian ministries to thrive.

The U.S is going through a major hardship that might turn into a long depression. If the problem of debts continue the depression is likely to happen very soon, and a horde of other social problems such as family disintegration and erosion of freedom will only get worst.

What the U.S needs now is spiritual guidance. It begins with the individual. If an individual follows God’s commands, no matter how hard the time is, he will thrive. When individuals get strong, the families will get strong, and then the people will get strong, and God will be able to heal the land and the nation.
