Evangelism Tools And Ideas: Campus, Internet, and Globe

This is an extraordinary time, because more and more people are realizing that we need to go back to the first century Church model. There are also more miracles and manifestations of spiritual gifts. For a precious few, they no longer see them as mysterious abnormality, but phenomena that are controllable by our faith.

The Bible has long been saying that. We Christians can control weather, move mountain, heal the sick, and ask outrageous things, and God will make sure they are done, if we have faith. Now I have come to believe there are no exceptions. This is a law—the Law of Faith—You can always make things happen if you always have faith.

The End Time is drawing near, I feel the urgency. We need to push things through, because there are no time for us to play dumb anymore. We have to contront the ugly reality—Satanic societies, child prostitutions, human trafficking, witchcraft, demons, abuses, slavery, government conspiracies, human-invented financial crises (part of the conspiracy), One World Order…—and restore the first century Church in the middle of all the chaos.

I have to emphasize “chaos” a little bit here, because it is what the reality is. We tend to build ivory-tower-like churches, not the biblical churches. The biblical church is close to the needy, sick, victims, and improvished. What I want to see is the picture that is described by the book of Acts, wherein the believers lived together and shared their properties with those who needed it.

They fellowshipped with one another on the streets and in their homes. They met around the clock. Those who could work earn money and donate it to the church. I am not too clear about how much we can practice communal living nowadays, but I am sure there are many people who need this. The cults have already been practicing it (Salt Lake City?). Satanic societies has been utilizing it in a twisted way to control people. All the while we have been building ivory towers that have minimal impact in people’s life.

Why Street Evangelism?

Because the street seems so cold, so distant, that people would easily pass you by and ignore you. It seems challenging. It forces the evangelists to summon all the faith they have. Parkour is done in the street. It’s a cool art. Pimps get their girls from the streets. Drug dealers get business from the streets. There are a lot of creative ways to achieve extraordinary things in the streets. If the wicked can do it, how much more that we, the mountain movers, can do?

If lust and greed can motivate people to go through water and fire to get their dark deeds done on the streets, how much more can we achieve? We are there to offer healing, liberty, shelter, financial support, and fellowship. It is such a good deal that no people should be able to resist, make sense?

If you can make things happen in the streets and build the churches there, you can do anything anywhere. It is a very good training ground for faith.

Colleges: Strategic Battle Grounds We Must Conquer

However, I am not staying on the street forever. There are strategic places for evangelism. I am thinking about colleges. Colleges are semi-open places. It is easy to get in there with our messages. When students graduate, they will also bring the Gospel to every corner of the world. It might be the best window of time in people’s life to get equiped and cultivated spiritually. They are about to marry and make money, but not yet. Their minds are relatively open. Campus life is casual. You can talk to the Catholic and Muslim students all day long, and they would be much more friendly than their adult counterparts outside campus.

In campus, there are always many things happening. There are plenty of opportunities to meet people while they are still young and fresh. The students are looking for guidance—something to believe in and belong to. It is the crucial time when either God will get them, or Satan will.

New Testament Churches In Colleges

The best age for people to embrace the New Testament Churches lifestyle is their college age. This is when they are still finding their potential spouses, mindset, and career path. This is the best time to sell them the NT Church package. Hopefully, when they graduate, they will open their homes for fellowship. Together, these young people will restore the NT Churches in every corner of the globe.

When they are still young and flexible, they can plan their careers and families around the biblical church lifestyle. It is much less disruptive than for adults to do that, because they are much more settled in the worldly system than the youngsters do.

While they are still in colleges, I want to let them see the needs of the world, and what they can potentially do to meet those needs. For example, in the third world countries, they can build schools for orphans, restore water supplies, improve agriculture, and most importantly, introducing the NT churches into these countries as well as their home countries. The healing it will bring to the world will be long lasting.

The college I attended is in a small town. Students don’t go back to home except on weekends, so the Christians basically fellowship with one another around the clock. It is a closer-knit Christian commuity than the churches outside. We enjoyed it so much that the alumi had trouble settling in the institutional churches after they graduated.

A lot of students experienced a bigger spiritual growth than they ever had. While they used to atrophying their spiritual muscles in their home churches, they found vibrant spiritual growth on Campus.

This phenomenon can definitely live on beyond graduation, if they simply practice the biblical church lifestyle.

Evangelism Through Multimedia

Another strategic place to evangelise is marketing. The Internet is the most obvious place of all. The fact that you are reading this blog speaks a lot about Internet evangelism. Next I want to upload YouTube videos that chronicalize my quests on restoring the NT Churches. I am sure it can inspire a lot of Christians to take action in some ways. Then, I am going to upload podcasts and online TV shows to promote the full Gospel.

One advantage with Youtube is that when we do street evangelism, the video camera helps us make people open up a little bit more. We can interview them and people are often open to random interviews.

Christians can now share their testimonies very easily. I want to collect their testimonies and find out answers for tough questions they have. I started the forum for this blog for the aforementioned reasons. Right now it is still empty, but I am going to populate it soon. You can post any question, testimony, or comment in the forum now if you want to help seed the forum.

The goal is to make sure people know what God has done for His people. He has done miraculous things and awesome things even in these days, but many people don’t know. Some Christians had their terminal illnesses and other uncurable, long suffering diseases completely healed, but they were only able to share with a handful of people they knew. What a waste! The awesome package of being a Christian has to be made known to all.

If you have a testimony to share, let me know. Maybe make a guest post in this blog to let the world knows what God has done for you.

Creative Ideas And Tools

To attract people and increase efficiency, event planning is probably the most obvious way. People like events. The bigger number than the one on one evangelism gives the attendees more security and confidence. When I was in school, I had planned and joined many events. I can picture how effective it is if we can do them again in a campus setting.

I used to compose simple tunes and lyrics. Christian friends loved them. I am going to resurrect that talent and use it in a much larger scale. The goal is to create professional like songs and upload them on YouTube.

Hopefully, my future colleagues and I can plan music concerts, seminars, and workshops in campus to promote the full Gospel and the NT Church package.

One idea has been cultivating in my mind for a while is post card marketing. Basically, you send post cards to people you know regularly, with personal messages. People want to be loved. If you keep reminding them of you through post cards or other personal contact, they will buy from you (if you are a salesman or business owner), marry you, be your best friend, and donate their organs to you. This is how powerful it is to show your care to someone in a personal way. Personal, written words are powerful.

These ideas aren’t cheap. I need time and money to support this ministry. It takes mega time to create and edit music, video, and plan events. To create quality music, a good computer and video camera are necessary. You can participate and help make it happens if you donate your equipment or money. Do you have the most advanced iMac? ;)

Be My Ministry Partner!

If you want to participate in the NT Churches ministry and share the heavenly rewards, please donate. Every video and blog post I make is going to cost time and energy, and time and energy are money. I can easily spend a day on a blog post, and use up my brain power so much that I cannot devote energy on money making activities anymore.

The NT churches need your financial support. How are we going to build orphanage, shelters for homeless, and provide them foods and clothes in the name of Jesus Christ, if no one donate the money? There are many people in desperate situations right now, but they have very huge potentials spiritually. They have nothing to lose, but everything to gain, if they join the NT churches and serve God through the biblical churches model.

Orphans can be trained to perform miracles, exercise spiritual gifts, and memorize the Bible because they are still so young and unblemished by the world. Widows or former prostitutes can be trained to be powerful caregiver and intercessors. These have been done in the past. See “Outpouring of Holy Spirit on Chinese orphans

The sad thing is that the majority of Christians fail to see the huge potentials of the weak. They need your protection, supports, and faith. If we all believe in the Bible word by word, these miraculous things can be done in gigantic scale. We need it because it takes powerful deeds of God to save the billions of lost souls in this End Time. We cannot afford to stick with our human-driven, non-supernatural, boring, and irrelevant ivory tower churches anymore.

I was saved as a result of Street Evangelism, a laday came up to me, gave me a tract on a youth concert and began to share Jesus, as a result the holy spirit got a hold of me, i wanted to run but God pinned me down after about an hour of talking with her I broke down crying uncontrollably and bowed my knee there on the street!! I have been saved for 23 years now and I also street evangelize.

Be bold, be strong for the Lord your God is with you!!! do not fear the faces of man, but trust in the living God.

Thank you for your testimony. That was 23 years ago. We believed in Christ at the same year!

Do you think street evangelism is getting harder? or was it the same back then? Where are you from?

  3. Really great article. You covered about everything except–what about evangelistic fiction in one form or another? It seems this would be another great tool for use in colleges, or with unsaved neighbors, friends or relatives. They will be more likely to read or view it and they just might get saved. For more, click on “evangelistic fiction” above.
