"In addition, I never disagreed with the blogger. "

You clearly are, but you chose to be passive aggressive about it. Let me give you a hint, if people see through your intention and bring your aggression into the open, then admit it. You are the only one who is not realizing that most people who read your previous comment see through it, so don't bother to confuse us with "wow, you put words into my mouth"

"Funny how you took my saying “What we SHOULD do is reach the ones that do not know Christ at all." made it all..."

No one twisted any word of yours. You want us to stop debating "one another" and reach those who "do not know Christ at all". You are actually saying, as long as someone has at least heard of Christ or proclaim themselves as ones who know Christ or call him Lord, then we are causing division and losing track if we debate with them. In other words, aren't you saying that as long as anyone call Jesus as Lord then he or she is a REAL Christian and we are not supposed to debate with that person?

"We should not be using scripture to ‘prove’ who’s right and wrong."

Your hypocracy is clear as day. You are protecting wolves who hide themselves under sheep skins. Let's not debate with one another... blah blah blah. Who are you to say who is our own?

Wow, its amazing how you can take my comment and manage to interpret it to say something I did not say at all. What I said is not my 'view', (Luke 4:7-9). We are here to worship God and bring Him glory.
Funny how you took my saying "What we SHOULD do is reach the ones that do not know Christ at all." made it all "kum ba yah" and get "According to your logic, as long as we call Jesus as Lord than we are ALL REAL Christians?"
Very easy to twist words around.....

In addition, I never disagreed with the blogger. I didnt feel the need to reiterate what was said prior to making my comment. More people should do like the Bereans did in Acts 17, open the scriptures for your SELF and see if its so.

"So as long as the wolves hide behind the banner of Christianity than we can’t debate them?"
Never said that either, but will I waste my words on deaf ears going back and forth 'debating'? NO

And view such as yours is why many people go to hell. Unity in error leads to hell. According to your logic, as long as we call Jesus as Lord than we are ALL REAL Christians? So as long as the wolves hide behind the banner of Christianity than we can't debate them?

Matthew 7:21

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

This is why the body is so divided today. Our purpose here is to worship God and to spread the Gospel so others may worship him. Salvation, tongues, proper ways to baptize, etc. has caused Christians to lose track of what our goal really is. It's VERY easy for us to debate one another. What we SHOULD do is reach the ones that do not know Christ at all.
Scripture should support scripture. We should not be using scripture to 'prove' who's right and wrong.
People, read your bibles, watch out for ANYONE that twists scripture and go spread Gods word to the unbelievers.

Dear Robert, FINALLY, someone from the evangelical leadership who is willing to admit the truth, and bare his heart with all. I know this is what many Christian leaders who are now living a sinful life and believe the same thing you once believed SHOULD be thinking NOW.

You were clearly convicted by God, and I like the question that the young guy asked you, because this question is documented to have saved many life around the world. Just one simple question, and it is so powerful. see http://spiritlessons.com/Documents/Frank_Jenner/Frank_Jenner_of_George_Street.htm

I, too, am encouraged and warned by what you said here. Even though I have been writing articles to warn people, I myself need this reminder and powerful testimony from you. Your testimony is very encouraging. The path to heaven has been so long and exhausting for me, especially lately, I feel the heavy heavy weight, and it is tempting to go back to the world and just be done with God.

Saikit, for "years" I loved Jesus, I witnessed to many people, I baptised people, I held offices in the (evangelical) church, and knew that Jesus had changed my life. I knew the power and presence of God and knew that He heard and ANSWERED my prayers. I allowed the enemy and the world to infiltrate my life and wound up growing cold in my faith. I drifted from the Lord and sinned in many ways. I lost my joy, my faith and my relationship with Jesus.

I said all that to say this...There is NO ONE on this Earth that can convince me that I was Never Saved! No One! I know I was saved and on my way to heaven. Also, I heard over and over from leaders in the church, "you are just struggling" and "don't question your salvation, I was there when you accepted the Lord and YOU ARE SAVED!" I was even told that I might be out of "relationship" with Jesus, but He would always hold me firm in His hand! This went on for over four years.

But, one day a young guy asked me a question that was like a slap in my face..."if you died, right now, would you go to heaven?" The only verse in the Bible I could think of was 1 Cor. 6:9. I knew that the Bible was VERY CLEAR about people who committed these sins WOULD NOT go to heaven, and I was committing those sins! My first thought was...devil, you are a liar, I am saved! Jesus will NEVER leave me! I am his child! Then, I had to admit that "I" had left Jesus! I had taken my hand off the plow and was not fit for the kingdom! I had lost not only my "relationship" with Jesus...I had lost my salvation...I was trampling on the blood and grace of my savour!

Now I know that some of you will say..."you never were saved to begin with"...YOU ARE WRONG! The Pastor said I was, My heart said I was, Jesus said I was, and the Leaders in my church said I was! I WAS SAVED! Now here is my problem with Once Saved, Always Saved, if I had died during my sinful years, my Pastor, my Friends, my Church Leaders would have all preached me right into heaven. That would have probably given "peace" to my family, but to all my buddies sitting in the funeral service it would have been a "go ahead" to live your life of sin, "Robert live a sinful life and he's in heaven". "He accepted Jesus as savour and lord and he is with Him right now in heaven". That would have been a LIE from the pit of hell! Most people who believe in Once Saved, Always Saved will tell you that you cannot live in sin and go to heaven...but that's exactly what imply when they come across with the nonsence of drunks and dope addicts and liars going to heaven. Read 1 Cor. 6:9-11. Their ONLY answer is..."they never were saved at all". Well, I can tell you from my heart...you are MIS-INFORMED! In fact the word of God tell us VERY PLAINLY that in the Last Days MANY will "depart" from the FAITH! They will turn away from the truth!

And as for "we all have to sin every day"...SINNERS DON'T GO TO HEAVEN ! If you are "IN CHRIST" you have been SET FREE from sin! It does not reign in your life any longer! The bondage of sin is BROKEN! Thank God, that's where I live TODAY! I am AGAIN in the FAMILY of God! I was Lost, but NOW I'm found...I was Blind, but NOW I see. Perseverence of the Saints is a CONSTANT THEME of the Bible, Church Fathers and Jesus. "In Christ" is the KEY! NOT WORKS! GRACE...through FAITH IN JESUS!

Saikit,

It is troubling when people interpret Scripture through the lens of man-made doctrines. A follower of Jesus Christ has a continual present tense relationship with Jesus, which not based on a past action, but a continual one.

Here are some more Scripture verses that confirm solid truth:

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. “Every branch *IN ME* that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:1

If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and *THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE*.
1 Corinthians 3:17

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times *SOME WILL FALL AWAY FROM THE FAITH*, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons
1 Timothy 4:1

For in the case of those who have *ONCE BEEN ENLIGHTENED* and *HAVE TASTED OF THE HEAVENLY GIFT* and *HAVE BEEN MADE PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT*,and *HAVE TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF GOD* and the powers of the age to come, and *THEN HAVE FALLEN AWAY*,it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.

Hebrews 6:4-8

Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself *WILL NOT BE DISQUALIFIED*.

1 Corinthians 9:26-27

Simply reading the Bible for what it says reveals the truth in its very words. It is not what I say, nor my opinions, but what God says in His Word that are the very facts and the proof that once saved, always saved is a false deception.

The comments (manifestations) of false doctrine have have been exposed and refuted by the very words of Scripture, which have cut through the double mindedness, confusion, and distortions of man-made doctrine.

Keep contending for the truth Saikit.

you are contradicting yourself yet again. you keep asking for proof, it has been given,

You have given one or two arguments, which I quickly responded to, but you failed to follow up on my responses, and continue to use the same ridicule over and over, without ever addressing my responses.

You also lacked proof for other claims that you have made against me. You can't make a dozen claims (not that you did make a dozen, though quite a few, but just saying), and only provide a couple of proof. You have to provide adequate reasoning and argument for each claim you made.

Yet again? when did I do it last time? and how did I contradict myself this time?

1 Corinthians 9:27 (English Standard Version)
27But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
this person is saying this means you are disqualified from heaven
**i have added the full verse instead of you just listing a bunch of references.**
that portion of scripture talks about self disipline if you read the verses before it, it talks about giving your all and doing you best how does that “disqualify” anyone

The whole meaning is that Paul was doing his best to discipline himself, lest he gets disqualified, regardless of how many people he had preached to and saved through the Gospel.

Let says, "I better do my homework, lest I get spanked by mom". It means mom would spank if the child doesn't do his homework. Even a child understands such wordings. How did you come to interpret away the "disqualified" part? It's as absurb as saying that the child won't get spanked whether he does his homework or not, and saying that the sentence is about homework, not about spanking. The truth is the sentence includes both.

Gal. 5:4You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace
**again listed the entire verse**
Gal. 5 is talking about a yearning to do god’s will and once you are saved (and will be for life)you are to be filled a want to turn from sin.

The verse was saying that the Galatians believers turned to good works and the law for their salvation, and therefore lost it. The point I was trying to make by referencing to it was that a Christian can lose his or her salvation. You totally misinterpreted the meaning of the verse.

i have answered many of your questions. where are mine? if you truly believe what you say to be true, convince me. answer my questions. if you are unsure of what ones, reread the posts and figure out which have been ignored.

I already answered all your points, please list the ones you think I failed to answer in point form so we know what you are talking about. I am sure the readers can tell whether I have answered all your points. You may not see it this way, and I am not surprised, because people have the power to live in their own reality. The objective reality is that I really did answer all your points.

Please reread my previous replies. In my responses I quoted your words and colored them in blue, and wrote my answers below the blue words.

you are contradicting yourself yet again. you keep asking for proof, it has been given, here are some more 'proofs that you are twisting bible verses to fit what you want:

1 Corinthians 9:27 (English Standard Version)

27But I discipline my body and(A) keep it under control,[a] lest after preaching to others(B) I myself should be(C) disqualified.
this person is saying this means you are disqualified from heaven

**i have added the full verse instead of you just listing a bunch of references.**

that portion of scripture talks about self disipline if you read the verses before it, it talks about giving your all and doing you best how does that "disqualify" anyone

Gal. 5:4You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace

no one person can be completely free from sin it is impossible, God would not set a person up for failure which is what you are representing him to do. you are clearly in need of spiritual guidance. i believe it is you that has lacked true proof, misconstrued verses, failed to answer to any of my points, and have even picked apart my words and left parts out to fit what you are trying to disprove. and by the way, i am amazed at your memory of your conversation with this supposed pastor you have in another posting. simply marvelous, you must have had a tape recorder, i believe not half of what you claim the pastor has said. and if that was truly said, that paster was nothing more than a leader of a cult and not a true representation of an evangelical man of God. i have answered many of your questions. where are mine? if you truly believe what you say to be true, convince me. answer my questions. if you are unsure of what ones, reread the posts and figure out which have been ignored. make a believer out of me. i doubt you will be successful, but with all your persecution and ministry talk, you should be striving to answer my questions to the fullest extent instead of trying to twist things around. give me satisfactory answers. convert me. i dare you.
