I am glad it was an encouragement. I felt that God was prompting me to write right then, that you might be needing it. So it is another encouragement that I was indeed hearing Him, and I followed this time despite self doubts. Take care my friend.

I read your comment in the middle of my spiritual warfare. I have been rebuking my own "prison cell" as we speak. So what an encouragement to have your words show up just in time!

"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force." Matthew 11:12 I am learning to become more forceful lately. I learned that faith isn't static - just sit there and wait for God to follow up, but I need to actively remind my circumstance of what God said it should be, instead of what it currently is.

Self doubt is sometime hard to detect. I found out more about my doubt as I try to focus on what God said in His promises, because God's word makes me aware of my true condition.

When the circumstance doesn't line up with God's word, rebuke it! Maybe God is using your feedback to confirm me that.

Thank you for your honesty and for speaking Truth. I have read through your blogs on self doubt and spiritual warfare. I have been looking at both issues in my life, you brought them together well. I have taken another step toward freedom.
I have been a follower of Christ a long time, and have even studied ministry, and am trying to develop a ministry website of my own but I struggle with self doubt very badly. I see now how the enemy has used it to terrorize me into not living the Free life Jesus paid for me to have. The enemy can be very scary, but he does not have authority over my life. Jesus has the authority over my life and I am standing up to follow Jesus out of this musty prison cell, I don't belong here. I belong at Jesus's side.
I found your article by googling self doubt and Bible. Please do not get too focused on your web stats as an indication of the value of your work. God will bring people to your writings who need it. Just keep following God. I will try to remember that for my site too.

I'm so blessed by all of your teachings. I am so thankful that you allowed God to use you to reach out to others. May God bless you with more aspiring words to help win more souls and to help others break free from their strongholds. I plan to visit your website more. by the way I'm in the U.S.
